2. Standard and Comfort pitches
2.1 BOOKING
- Minimum bookable stay for arrivals:
- from 24/05 to 11/07 and from 01/09 to 14/09: 3 nights
- from 12/07 to 01/08 and from 18/08 to 31/08: 5 nights
- from 02/08 to 17/08: 7 nights
Free arrival/departure days in all periods.
- There are two different ways of booking online:
- DIRECT BOOKING: the customer can make a reservation independently, with down payment or payment in full, and receive an instant confirmation.
- BOOKING REQUEST: the customer can request a quote and availability from the designated area of torrerinalda.it/en. The booking office will send the customer proposals that comply with the requests received or, in the event of unavailability, proposals for different accommodations and/or periods.
The customer will be able to choose from the various proposals the one that best suits his or her needs. The booking office will then send the customer a non-binding CONFIRMATION OF AVAILABILITY with details of the stay and the date by which the down-payment must be made. It is clarified that the CONFIRMATION OF AVAILABILITY does not provide an option: the deadline date indicated, only represents the maximum time limit within which the payment must be made. The system will therefore continue to provide the same availability to other customers, with possible ineffectiveness of the request even before the indicated deadline.
Once the availability confirmation deadline has expired, or in the case of its early expiry (following confirmation by other guests), the reservation shall be considered as “not completed”, releasing the Holiday Centre from any commitment with the applicant.
- DIRECT BOOKING or BOOKING REQUEST must be made by the Guest who will actually occupy the pitch, who must indicate the total number of persons and their biographical data.
- The STAY CONTRACT resulting from the accepted booking is automatically terminated due to CAUSES OF FORCE MAJEURE that determine the impossibility of using even part of the booked facility. These include, in non-exhaustive terms, pandemics certified by public authorities, atmospheric events such as natural disasters of any kind (floods, earthquakes, etc.), political, social and public order events (revolutions, terrorist attacks, bombings, staff strikes, etc.), judicial provisions resulting from civil, criminal and administrative proceedings, even if already underway at the time of booking, and any other event and/or circumstance that makes the booked accommodation unusable, even partially. Upon the occurrence of a Force Majeure event, the Guest shall be entitled to prompt notification and a refund of only the amount paid without interest and with the exclusion of any further compensation.
- The Holiday Centre reserves the right to unilaterally cancel or modify the reservation in the event that it is not made in accordance with the conditions stated herein, including in the event that any non-compliance is due to bugs, glitches, errors or omissions in the online reservation system. In such eventualities, in the case of cancellation, the customer shall only be entitled to a refund of the amount paid; in the case of a unilateral change, the customer shall be entitled to withdraw from the reservation within 5 days of notification of the change, and shall only be entitled to a refund of the amount paid.
2.2 BOOKING CHANGES
- It is possible to request changes to your booking up to 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
- The Holiday Centre reserves the right not to accept requests to change the period or accommodation. In this case the original booking will be considered cancelled and a new booking will have to be made.
- If accepted, changes involving a variation in the dates of arrival/departure or type of accommodation will be subject to applicable different rates and conditions of stay/booking.
- Should a change to the dates of the booked stay be requested consisting of rescheduling to a later period, in the event of a cancellation, the deadlines stated in the following article relating to the charges to be incurred by the reserving party, shall in any case refer to the date of arrival stipulated in the initial reservation.
- Under no circumstances may the holder transfer the reservation to a third party without the prior authorisation of the Holiday Centre.
- Reservations involving switching groups of people or families are not accepted. For such requirements, it will be necessary to contact the Booking office before booking.
2.3 BOOKING CANCELLATION
- Any cancellation of the stay reservation must be communicated by the holder via e-mail in response to the CONFIRMATION previously received.
- In cases of cancellation the following amounts will be charged:
- € 70.00 (as handling fee) if the notice of cancellation is received by the 8th day prior to the beginning of the booked stay;
- the entire down-payment paid at booking if the notice of cancellation is received from the 7th day prior to the beginning of the booked stay onwards.
2.4 EARLY DEPARTURE – LATE ARRIVAL – NO SHOW
- In case of late arrival or early departure from the dates stipulated in the reservation:
- only the nights actually spent will be charged;
- the amount for nights from 09/08 to 17/08 is non-refundable;
- any discounts and/or promotions granted at the time of booking shall be void;
- the amount of the stay due may in no case be less than the down-payment.
- In the event of non-arrival within two days following the start date of the booked stay (NO SHOW), the Holiday Centre reserves the right to assign the reserved pitch to other guests.
2.5 OFFERS
- Low Season Offer:
- 10% discount on the basic rate of the pitch;
- gratuity of an umbrella and two sunbeds on the beach from the second row;
- free late check-out by 18:00 (excluding departures on 14/09);
- the offer is applicable to minimum 5 nights booked stays;
- the offer is applicable to stays until 14/06 and from 01/09;
- extras (ancillary services) are excluded from the discount;
- limited places offer;
- the offer cannot be combined with other promotions.
- Long Stay Offer:
- 5% discount on the basic rate of the pitch for minimum 8 nights stays (not valid from 09/08 to 17/08);
- 10% discount on the basic rate of the pitch for minimum 14 nights stays;
- the offer applies to booked stays;
- extras (ancillary services) are excluded from the discount;
- limited places offer;
- the offer cannot be combined with other promotions.
2.6 PAYMENT
- Reservations must be confirmed with a down-payment equal to 30% of the total amount of the stay; only online payments with Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards are accepted.
- Payment for the balance of the stay must be made no later than the day before check-out, during cash desk hours, in cash or by Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card.
- For stays including one or more nights between 09/08 and 17/08, payment for the period between the date of arrival and the last night between 09/08 and 17/08 must be made at check-in. In any case, payment for nights booked in this period is always due and is never refundable.
2.7 CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
- Check-in and pitch handover:
- Standard Pitches:
- from 02/08 to 24/08: 12:00 – 20:00
- other periods: 08:00 – 20:00
- Comfort Pitches:
From 14:30 to 16:30, it is not possible to enter with vehicles inside the camping area. However, it is possible to check in and walk inside the Holiday Centre.
- Check-out and departure: by 12:00
- Minimum stay without reservation: 1 night (from 02/08 to 24/08, the Management reserves the right to set a minimum stay with advance payment).
2.8 CREWS
- Standard Pitch: max 5 persons (with exception for same family members)
- Comfort Pitch: max 5 persons (with exception for same family members)
- Standard Pitch XL: max 6 persons (with exception for same family members)
- Comfort Pitch XL: max 6 persons (with exception for same family members)
- Small Tent Place: max 2 adults + 1 child (max 9 y.o.)
2.9 PETS
- A maximum of two pets are allowed per pitch. A surcharge is applied for staying with animals.
- The rules of behaviour for dog owners are set out in Article 4 of the Holiday Centre Regulations.
2.10 VEHICLES
- There is one car parking space per pitch, included in the stay rate, for crews with a tent, caravan or trailer tent, and with a surcharge for crews with camper vans.
- Vehicles may only be parked in the parking areas indicated on the Holiday Centre map.
- It is not possible to reach the pitch by car, except only on arrival and departure days for loading and unloading luggage/equipment, for which the Holiday Centre’s Management reserves the option to provide with its own vehicles.
- It is not possible to park vehicles on the pitch.
2.11 FURTHER BOOKING AND STAY CONDITIONS
- Tourist tax is not included in the total cost and is € 2.00 per person per night, for a maximum of 5 nights. Children up to 11 years old are exempt.
- The basic price of the pitches includes occupancy for up to 2 persons, any additional persons will be at a supplement.
- No bookings for groups of minors unaccompanied by an adult for the entire stay are permitted.
- It is not possible to reserve specific pitches.
- For arrivals until 01/08 and from 25/08 the Standard pitches can be chosen by the Guest on arrival from those available in the areas indicated by the receptionists. From 02/08 to 24/08 the pitch will be assigned by the receptionists.
- The Standard XL, Comfort and Comfort XL pitches will be assigned by the receptionists.
- Groups of crews travelling together and/or sharing part of the camping equipment may NOT be guaranteed proximity or contiguity of two or more pitches, even if the same type. Moreover, they CANNOT be guaranteed proximity or contiguity of two or more umbrellas on the beach or gazebos by the pool, if booked
- It is not allowed to change the chosen or assigned pitch without the Holiday Centre Management’s permission.
- Electricity outlets are a maximum of 30 metres far from the pitches, so it is recommended that you bring an adequately long electric cable.
2.12 SPECIFIC AGREEMENT ON THE RULES AND BOOKING CONDITIONS
By paying the deposit, or the total amount of the stay, the customer specifically agrees:
- the RULES of the Holiday Centre at www.torrerinalda.it;
- section 2.1 of these booking conditions (BOOKING).
In the event of any dispute concerning the interpretation of the contents of this document, the Italian version shall prevail.
