The Mercatino del Gusto is set up every year since 2002 to promote the culinary tradition of our generous region, characterized by an extraordinary biodiversity and crossed by different cultures.
This experience involves food lovers and tourist coming from all over the world. Over a hundred of stands are set up in the charming streets of historic city center where it is possible to taste local food and wine specialties.
The exhibitors are the best local producers who managed to preserve the original flavours with particular attention for sustainability and new consumption styles.
Every year from the 1st to the 5th of august the event opens with the Mercatini del Gusto Award: the prize is awarded to those local producers who stood out for the territory promotion and the innovative communication of their.
Educational workshop about local products, guided tastings with live music, dance shows and events for children are also organized for the occasion.
